The Bastard is a mix of two of Frödin Flies' absolute best flies, Pahtakorva and Nasty Banana, and has proven to be just as good as expected. The spey-like ostrich hackle gives the fly that extra sexy swimming ability. There are few pattern crosses that have so quickly proven worthy of their own pattern status. The more elongated TTT version has all the advantages of the TTT and the samurai.
