Bivvies & Brollys

A good protection during the night is A & O during long fishing trips! There are a variety of carp fishing bivy options, shelters and brolly systems all designed to keep you warm and dry in the harshest of weather. Which bivvy or brolly option is best for you? It depends. If you're a specimen angler only fishing one or two nights at a time, an umbrella system (brolly) may be the best option as these are easy to store and don't take up as much space in your pack. Many of these systems have solid panels that zip in and zip out if the weather takes a turn for the worse. If you prefer a little more space, a bivvy with a cover may be more suitable. With a larger space these provide more comfort, especially for those who spend many nights in one place and with a bed added you will be comfortable all night! If you like a lot of space, a two-person bivvy is a great choice. With plenty of space, especially with cover, they really are a home away from home!
