Battery Chargers
Take care of your batteries! A good battery charger extends the life of your batteries. There are plenty of different variants, some of which you can set up for maintenance charging and have connected to your batteries throughout the winter season. They only charge when the battery falls below a certain percentage and you do not risk destroying your batteries. We always recommend storing your batteries fully charged indoors during the winter season, but if you are like us, you always want to be ready. Keep in mind that almost no lithium batteries charge at minus degrees and therefore may need to be charged indoors at times. To easily explain the different specifications you see on the battery chargers, here is a simple guide. Volt (V) is voltage and Ampere is the unit in which the current is measured. A 12V 20A charger charges a 12 V battery with 20 Ampere per hour (20Ah) and a charger 12V 4.3A charges the battery with 4.3 Ampere per hour. Choose a charger depending on how fast you want to charge your battery and make sure it is compatible with your battery type. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact our customer service who will be happy to help with your choice.
