Summary
In Frödin's collection of old original flies, the Green Highlander is rare, but as a modern classic to fish with today, it is one of the most common.
Productinformation
In Frödin's collection of old original flies, the Green Highlander is rare, but as a modern classic to fish with today, it is one of the most common. This is certainly due to its exquisite coloring for many of the green-shimmering Scandinavian rivers. We strongly believe in harmonizing the fly's color with the water, and the Green Highlander has yielded many fine catches over the years. Micke fishes them large, broad, and powerful down to thinly dressed micro flies. It is simply a superb pattern that has influenced many other of Frödin's modern patterns. They have tried to maintain the original colors, spiced it with SSS synthetic material, and turned the classic into a soft drop-shaped well-swimming modern classic that out-fishes the feather-winged original.
