Summary

This is Mikael's absolute favorite among the old classic Spey and Dee flies.

Productinformation

Already in the early 80s, he had good catches with both Dee Strip Winged and this variant with a thin, low-tied cinnamon-colored hair wing over the beautifully swimming heron-hackled body. This classic has fine humus colors, and that is surely why it has produced such good catches in the Baltic rivers and the Norwegian forest rivers. Frödin Flies loves the classic touch as well as the seductive heron hackles – it’s no wonder that one often finds an Akroyd at the end of their leaders.
