Back in the early eighties Mikael was pioneering with the use of soft fox hair in his wings. This has since then become a standard on Scandinavian style of flies. Fox come in many cross breads and qualities. The use of superb quality of all materials is essential for us. All our fox is dyed by us in our special 15 colours. It’s dried and brushed and very highly selected. Our fox comes in four qualities. Two from body hair and two from the tails.

Fox Body Hair Supreme
is a longer body hair 6-10cm in length. It has different qualifications. It’s got longer straighter hair covers and a very soft undercoat. The hair can be tied in with or without the soft under coating. It’s ideal for medium sized tubes where a slimmer profile is desirable. It also works perfect for the over wing on all flies up to 8cm in length.
