Summary

This is a medium-length, very strong hair with a fantastic sheen that we've been using since the early '80s. It's excellent for medium-sized, slightly thinner, elegantly dressed flies.

Productinformation

For Zonkers, and perhaps best for the legs and antennae of older shrimp flies. We've chosen to dye clear colors from chalk-white skins as well as from speckled skins - the ones we call Sapphire. The packaging is generous with a large double-folded piece cut from the middle of the back. This means that all packages contain both the softer belly hair and the longer shiny back hair. We see this as a clearly underrated wing material for small and medium-sized flies. The hair provides wings with fine light transmission and a nice sheen.
