Double Hand Lines

The two-handed lines vary depending on the size of the water, the temperature and which rod you use. In addition to the different sinking speeds and lengths, there are different types of two-handed lines such as Skagit, Scandi and Spey.

Fly lines - Clumps

Scandi lines are designed to make easy, long casts with Scandi casts where you cast with a tight loops. These lines have different lengths and vary in how fast they sink.

Fly lines - Skagit lines

These lines are short and are aggressively tapered at the front. Skagit heads are used when you want to cast large, heavy flies or fast-sinking tippets. Skagit lines are measured by the weight of the line excluding the tip, unlike standard Spey and Scandi heads. When you want to fish in tight spaces with little room for back casting, Skagit lines have advantages as they load quickly even with small D-loops.

Fly lines - Spey lines

These lines generally require more experience from the caster compared to Skagit and Scandi lines where Spey lines can be more difficult to roll out with their longer heads.
