Perchfight V2, an updated series of our hugely popular Perchfight rod!

Perchfight V2 rod series has a new fresh design, updated bottom part with a minimalist style and graphics. There is also a red indicator on the top loop to make it easier to keep track when you are out fishing.

All of these rods are developed by Nicklas & Henrik at Söder Sportfiske, the optimal rods for perchfishing. A lot of time, thought and love was put into getting these rods just as we wanted them.

Designed by us at Söder together with Garry at True Custom Rods / American Tackle, thanks to the reinforced 40T Japanese Toray blanks and Microwave guides the rods keeps it's lightness, sharpness and power. These rods are a bit lighter than the old series and of course 2pcs for easy transport.

Reel
Sculpted from over a decade of engineering advancement and a rich lineage of predecessors, the new Vanford tests the boundaries of technology and engineering found in spinning reels. Built upon a CI4+ body for both a lightweight feel and carbon rigidity, the Vanford incorporates a MagnumLite (MGL) Rotor for up to 48% less rotational inertia than traditional rotor construction for a quick response in critical situations.

Vanford also incorporates Long Stroke Spool technology to increase casting distance while producing a smoother line lay on the spool during retrieval. X-Protect technology and water-channeling construction enhances Vanford’s water resistance and overall durability - an important feature for a reel sure to be found in inshore environments.

Line
Following four years of development, Sunline recently launched Asegai braid featuring patented Xplasma technology that dramatically improves slickness, abrasion resistance, and water repellency. Slickness and smoothness are improved 370% and 260% respectively over our conventional braided lines.

The Xplasma process also improves hydrophobic capabilities of Asegai over 240% over our standard braided lines allowing for longer casts and less freeze up in guides and reels in cold weater. Asegai is a premium eight strand Japanese made PE with tight woven surface.
