Yes, this is a really cool pattern. A clever variant on the classic black-orange color theme. Soft sweeping heron hackle, deep orange tones against a black head wing give the fly not only a superb coloration but also fine life sweeping through even the calmest pools. Spiced with Frödin's orange JC substitute, not just on the sides but also in the tail, it truly gives a wicked impression. Micke fishes them in lightly tinted, whiskey-colored water and even when the river runs considerably more colored. A sure bet in all sizes!
