Nikwax

Nikwax was released as a commercial product in London. The year was 1977 when 22-year-old Nick Brown mixed his first order using an old teurna, a primus stove, a mug and materials bought from the local hardware store. The wax was poured into small jars and labelled. Nick drove his Morris 1000 van and sold his products to the outdoor scene. Suddenly things took off and all of a sudden his products were being sold in 8 countries.
