The W4 Powercast 2nd Generation rods are prefect hybrids between saltwater boat fishing and pike fishing rods. Bottom fishing for plaice and turbot, casting lighter jigs for halibut, or casting shads or lures for pike. It all takes a sensitive rod, with a medium-fast action, and a lot of backbone! Our development team managed to get exactly this type of action out of the finest Japanese Torayca® carbon fibers, resulting in the W4 Powercast 2nd Gen.
