UTC Vinyl Rib comes in several diameters to suit whatever flies you are tying.

The medium vinyl rib is great for hook sizes 4 to 10 for patterns like big Stone flies, and streamers.
The nymph size is a good material for ribbing and abdomens on nymphs, scuds, and makes great bodies on smaller saltwater patterns on hooks 8-16.
The Midge Size is great for small nymphs between hook 14-18 or ribbing on larger flies.
