Semperfli Nano Silk 12/0 50D is a favorite among fly tiers due to its exceptional strength and fine diameter. The thread lies flat, allowing you to use multiple wraps without adding unnecessary bulk to the fly. Nano Silk is 10 times stronger than stainless steel of the same diameter, making it perfect for tying both small and medium-sized flies. It’s also easy to split, ideal for creating dubbing loops. Nano Silk is made up of 50 tightly twisted strands with a breaking strength of 1.9 kg and is twisted 100 times per meter for maximum strength. Each spool provides 50 meters of this reliable thread.
