When hooking up with a plug that doesn’t fit into the fish’s mouth, it’s important to hook up with a plug that adheres to the scales around the mouth. To achieve this, it’s essential to penetrate the hard scales with a barb, so we’ve made the barb thinner than conventional products to maximize penetration.
