Compared to the established J-Braid X8, the Grand X8 has a slightly tighter braid, resulting in higher abrasion resistance and improved knot strength. Through a special manufacturing process where the J-Braid Grand X8 is stretched, abrasion resistance is further increased and linear strength improved. J-Braid Grand X8 is very supple and slightly quieter. As this line is slightly stiffer than J-Braid X8, it is particularly suitable for windy and challenging fishing conditions.
