With a coil-shaped stained or oiled handle made of FSC® certified Scandinavian birch wood, double paring bar and a 2.0 mm thick blade made of recycled Swedish stainless steel, the knife is always ready for the next task. Thanks to a smaller handle geometry, the knife rests comfortably in a small hand. The knife's full tang runs through the entire handle, providing both strength and stability in every cut. The knife sheath in its natural color of vegetable tanned leather has a belt strap that can easily be attached to the belt and for safety, it is equipped with a simple and classic button lock that secures the knife in the knife sheath. The embossed Dala coat of arms on the sheath is a well-preserved detail from the past. The knife sheath should always be attached to the knife when not in use to carefully protect both the user and the sharp edge. Contact with surfaces other than wood can dull the edge. Children should always be accompanied by an adult when handling a knife. Ever since they were first introduced in the 1930s, the characteristic Scout knives have been an obvious entry-level knife for children and a door opener for a richer outdoor life.
