Productinformation

Polarised triacetate cellulose (TAC)
TAC lenses are formed from plastic sheets using a multi-layer lens technique. It is the lightest polarized lens available and the polarization efficiency is 99%.

Ultraviolet treatment, UV400
This coating protects the eyes from the sun's UV rays. 100% UVA, UVB and UVC protection.

Scratch resistant coating
Despite all the progress made in the development of lens coatings, there are still none that are completely scratch-resistant - not even glass lenses. However, Leech lenses are treated on both sides with a clear, hard coating that makes them highly scratch-resistant.

Copper coloured lenses
Copper-coloured lenses enhance contrasts and improve depth perception, making it easier to distinguish fish in a sea-coloured environment. We recommend copper-coloured lenses because they also increase sharpness and protect the eyes, reducing strain on them. They are also perfectly suited for morning and evening light and make it much easier to see the fish.

Yellow lens
Many people prefer to fish at dawn or dusk as fish are at their most active then. Those fishing in deep waters are advised to choose yellow-tinted lenses as they prevent glare and reduce eye fatigue while improving visibility.

Grey lenses
Grey lenses are good for sunny days because they reduce brightness without distorting colours, as many other lenses do. It also reduces eye strain. If you fish in rivers where the bottom is grey, you should choose grey glasses.
