Being so dense, tungsten helps to read the bottom cleanly. You will notice the difference as soon as the lure touches bottom! The weight system allows the lure to pivot over obstacles protecting the trebles from snagging up. The TN 38 has a distinctive deep resonance in the water, characteristic of all Illex TN lures.
