The Black & Silver Muddler builds on the classic Muddler Minnow, originally crafted by Don Gapen in 1937 to imitate baitfish like sculpins. This updated version features a lightly weighted silver body and lively marabou wings for added action in the water. Its broad head moves water, making it easily detectable to fish. While designed as a streamer, it’s also excellent for imitating grasshoppers and large caddisflies. Ideal for active retrieves in lakes during foul weather or swinging through river currents.
