Guideline Liquid Floatant

Designed with special and unique materials, the award-winning High N Dry Liquid Floatant is the perfect floatant for fly anglers who prefer to dip their fly in a container. Lab tests have proven this to be the most effective dip available. Dipping as a method of impregnation is quick and easy and allows the fly to be completely covered with a barrier of impregnation that keeps moisture out. It works well on flies tied with all types of materials (including CDC). Just dip and cast! The product contains no organic solvents, 100% solids and is environmentally friendly.

This is our favorite product for any fly with CDC on its body, wings or legs. Instead of blowing excess float off the fly after a dip, we like to attach the fly to a rubber band on the vest/pack, hold the tab and snap it so the fly bounces back and forth. This is a very effective way to get rid of excess dip and liquid in general.

High N Dry Liquid float is not just a product for use in the field, if you tie your own flies and need a pre-preg, this dip is great! When prepreging you can use a slightly more selective method. Feel free to have a Q-tip or nice little brush to help. Studded bodies especially benefit from a little pre-preg to make them even easier to maintain at the water's edge.

The liquid comes in a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bottle with a silicone seal in the cap. This packaging ensures that the container does not leak and stick to your vest. The cap is attached to the container with a ribbon so you don't lose it. The wide opening allows even your largest flies to be dropped into the container. A full 67ml of pure liquid comes in the bottle, which is more than the others on the market.
