Guideline Fario CDC DT

A discreet and delicate double-tapered line (DT) for stealth fishing for shy fish with light gear in crystal clear waters all over the world. The great advantage of a DT line is its control at all distances and the ability to mend even at longer distances. The Fario CDC DT is a superior line when controlled casts and fine presentations are the main requirement, making it an ideal line for dry fly fishing.

The Fario CDC DT works great for short distance fishing and is also easy to control and cast at longer distances. You'll be able to lift a long line out of the water to angle the cast and reposition the fly quickly and accurately. The thin diameter of the line allows it to land softly on the surface as well as cut delicately through the air and present long taps with poise and precision.

The coating has very low friction and a relatively high density to keep the diameter and drag down, while providing enough buoyancy to keep the tip afloat in all situations. After some use, you can also reverse it and get a "new" line, as the Fario CDC DT has identical taper at both ends. The line is built around a braided multifilament core with well-balanced longitudinal stretch. There are small, smooth factory-made welded loops at the front and back of the line and a laser ID marking near the tip. Both the box and spool are environmentally friendly and recyclable. The Fario CDC DT is available from DT2F to DT5F and the colour is light grey-green over the entire length of the line.
