The line is excellent for fishing in smaller streams and rivers, but it's also a great choice for sea fishing. Places you may have avoided previously due to dense vegetation will now feel like an easy task. Whether you need to make an overhead or spey/roll cast, the compact head will give you great advantages. Brook WF will open up entirely new possibilities in challenging situations.

The head, which is only 6.5 meters long, is designed to be easily casted from short distances up to about 15-20 meters depending on casting style. The majority of the head consists of a continuous front taper that then transitions into a short back taper. Its triangular shape makes the line very easy to lift from the water and is extremely suitable for water-borne casts such as roll and switch/spey casts.

To be stable and also function for overhead casting, we have designed a tapered handling line of 1.75 meters tapering down to the shooting line. This "extra back taper" also helps to brake the shoot perfectly to ensure that the line loop is more stable and doesn't roll over too quickly. This means that despite its short head, the line still presents fine casts up to mid-distances. The unique design of back taper and handling line also makes it much easier to control mends in practical fishing. The head part of the line is ivory-colored and has a strongly yellow shooting line. Right where the transition between the colors occurs is a visual indication for the line's perfect shooting position for roll and spey casts.
