Guideline Alta NGx Jacket

The Alta NGx Sonic Jacket is the perfect shell jacket for the truly dedicated fly fisherman who demands best-in-class waterproofing and breathability. The jacket has a perfect fit with articulated shoulders and elbows that provide minimal resistance when casting or moving along the water. The high fleece-lined collar, YKK Aquaguard® zipper and our DuoDrag™ Sleeve Closure System keep you warm and dry in the harshest weather conditions. Large chest pockets provide plenty of room for fly boxes and also have interior pockets for smaller accessories. The entire Alta NGx series is designed to offer the very highest level of durability and comfort available on the market.

The jacket seams are partially welded with high frequency ultrasonic technology and offer a very reliable level of waterproofing. Alta NGx also has best-in-class breathability yet remains soft and comfortable to wear. The fit is generous in all the right places with articulated shoulders and elbows to avoid resistance when you're active. The jacket's hood has a stiffened front edge and a 3-dimensional tangle-free adjustment.

A high fleece-lined collar provides maximum protection and warmth on cold days. In the front, a YKK Aquaguard® zipper with a special stowage pipe construction keeps you dry in the harshest weather conditions. The two high chest pockets have plenty of room for large fly boxes and also have double smaller pockets inside for tackle reels and other small items. Fleece-lined handwarmer pockets are great for when your hands need a little help, and all pockets are equipped with splash-proof YKK Aquaguard® zippers, so the handwarmer pockets also double as extra pockets for gear.

The jacket has dual Hypalon docking stations on the front where you can securely attach pegs and awkward clippers that you want to have easily accessible. The hem of the jacket has double adjustments and a mesh drainage to avoid storing water while wading. On the inside, you'll find two pockets, one stretch-mesh and one zippered Aquaguard® pocket for storing a pair of gloves and a cell phone in a safer place. The Guidline DuoDrag™ Sleeve Closure System keeps water out of the sleeve cuffs and has warming neoprene Velcro cuffs. The D-ring at the neck keeps your net easily within reach without getting in the way.
