BayStar Compact Hydraulic Cylinder: Baystar is a hydraulic steering system for smaller engines up to 150Hp from the world-leading hydraulic steering manufacturer Seastar. The Baystar cylinder HC4645-3 is used for Baystar systems with steering pump HH4314-3 and nylon hose HT4420 and in Baystar Plus systems with steering pump HH4514-3 and HO51xx hydraulic hose with pressed connections.
Compatibility list (See pictures): The list presents the most common outboard engines on the market. Some engines require a special type of cylinder for the best possible assembly. Some installations may require motor adaptation or an additional mounting kit, HA5477 ground cable is recommended to avoid galvanic corrosion.
BayStar HH4314-3 Steering pump The pumps come with a built-in safety valve of 70bar / 1000psi. They are equipped with integrated non-return valves that prevent them from being affected by the motor, the function is also called Feedback.
It is possible to connect several pumps in parallel if more control points then connected between the pumps. There are two return sockets in each pump.
All are supplied with pumps with new -5 ORB connections that make it possible to rotate the connection to get the right angle on the hose.
It is possible to fold in the steering wheel pumps with a set-in kit or angle them using a 20 ° panel bracket.
