The long, thin wool fibers give a soft feel to the skin and do not itch like the much shorter and heavier wool fibers in ordinary wool.

The Merino wool has natural anti-odor properties and inhibits the formation of bacteria, which means that you can wear both socks and clothing in merino wool several times before washing.
