Summary

When the big halibut and huge cod are proving tricky and hard to tempt, give daisy a little jig and your chances will seriously pick up!

Productinformation

She has insanely sexy movement and swimming pattern - even fished slowly - based on juvenile saithe - the favourite fish supper for the big trophy specimens hunting the seas and shores around Norway. We've included two different bodies - the curltail for a smooth, wormlike swimming action (even at the slowest speed) - and the paddletail for that ''take-me-now'' wounded-panicky-fish-action. We've spent years testing and perfecting the movement, trying out every possible change in shape, size and weight distribution. The experienced guides from nordic sea angling who tested it now think we've succeeded - and some scarily big fish agree!

Line Capacity is not at all the same as the specifications say. I managed to get 120m of .35 J-Braid on. and then its really full. Otherwise great real.

After long thinking as a Shimano JDM fanatic I bought an Abu as it is less than half the price and has a higher drag. For this price it is an absolute steal. I used one for a month now as a wading fisherman between -2C and 14C, it has been ‘baptised’ a few times when unhooking pike in the water. It has seen 6 pikes and the slip was reliable even though I was a bit worried that under those wet and freezing conditions it wouldn’t start immediately but it did, bravo! The only reason I give it 4/5 is because there is some play, but on the other hand: only my JDM Shimano’s are absolutely play-free but double-triple the price. The good thing is that I can cast with full force without creating a professional overrun while with Shimano I always have to cast in a calm manner while a forceful cast can result in an overrun. All in all a nice caster and the drag (I didn’t use max settings) prooved to be reliable under freezing conditions while having been under water for a moment
