Switch Rods

Switch rods are fly rods where you can choose to use the rods as either one-handed or two-handed rods. A great choice that will broaden your fishing if you otherwise only fish with one-handed rods or only two-handed rods. Also suitable for fishing where a regular two-handed rod feels too big and clumsy.

The length of switch rods usually ranges from 9'9" to 11'9" and the class of the rods can vary from class 2 to class 12 with the most popular classes being class 5 - 8. With these rods you can fish most things from trout and grayling to salmon and sea trout. For switch rods you can use matching switch lines, however you can of course use Scandi, skagit, spey and single handed lines.
