Finlandia Uistin Oy was founded in 1963, when brothers Hannu and Kalevi Kangas launched the Nils Master brand, and the development of new fishing lures continues to this day. In 1978, the legendary Nils Master lures were joined by the Bete brand, which was started by Tage Tysklind in 1940 in Insjön, Sweden. As a result of careful development work, the lures have been given colours and characteristics suitable for many different waters and as proof of this, Finlandia Uistin's brands, Nils Master and Bete, have year after year been at the top of the records for record fish, whether it is pike, zander, perch, trout or salmon.
